You stand up and wipe the sand off of your wetsuit. You walk along the beach, past the crowd staring at the waves and the lifeguards.
“Someone’s still out there,” an onlooker screams. The lifeguards blow their whistles frantically as one
of them grabs a lifesaver and runs out to the sea.
As you walk along the shore, you keep an eye on the green and yellow striped Ricky Fast Boat. You zip
up your wetsuit and charge for the ocean. The water parts as you run towards it, making it easier for you to get out to sea faster. You notice two people dressed in all white watching you run into
the ocean. You reach the break and dive under a wave. You swim with the speed of a dolphin toward the path you expect the speedboat to take.
Within minutes you’re treading water with the speedboat heading right for you. You dive beneath the
water and spot a small collection of rocks.
“Can you send those rocks towards that boat’s propellers?” You ask the ocean.
“I can, but so can you.”
You look at your hands and then aim them at the rocks, which start to shake. You concentrate harder and
the rocks begin to rise. The harder you concentrate, the faster they move. The boat speeds closer to you and you send the rocks toward it. The rocks collide with the propellers, creating a small
explosion and the boat’s engines to smoke.
You consider asking the ocean to create waves for you, but after moving the rocks, you try to create
the waves yourself. You aim your hands to the left and right of the boat, punching the water with open palms, creating waves on each side. The boat begins to rock. You keep punching to the left and
the right of the boat, and then the front and back of it. You time your punches to make the boat rock more and more. Eventually the boat capsizes and it’s passenger and their cargo, three bound and
locked crates, fall into the sea.
You watch the crew struggle to recover the cargo and eventually give up, then tread water. You wonder
what kind of cargo they’re going after. Maybe it’s of great value, which your family is desperate for, but it’s heading for a very deep ravine and the currents could send it somewhere impossible to
find again. Then you remember the death of a loved one at the hands of Jahat and how you’ve longed for revenge.
